    STUD WELDING COLLETS

    The collet is used to hold the stud or pin in the stud gun during the weld process. The size is based on the diameter of the weld stud or pin.   

    "B" collets are the most common collet used on CD stud welding equipment from domestic manufacturers including AGM, Truweld, Midwest Fasteners, Proweld, HA Jones, Image, Cutlass, Studpro, KSM, Erico, Deweld and Omark.

     Specialty stud welding collets include collets specific for Nelson machines or collets specific for Soyer or European CD stud welders such as HBS, Lynx and Bettermann-Keystone.
